We offer competitive commissions across all Active Adventures and Austin Adventures trips. Commission for New Zealand trips is applicable to the pre-tax trip cost only. Please get in touch to learn how much you can earn when booking with us.

Do you offer tools to help travel advisors sell your product?

Yes, we provide our travel advisors with in-depth training and support, as well as offer marketing collateral to help you promote our trips and destinations. You can access everything via our Travel Advisor Resource Center.

How do I book flights?

We recommend chatting to our preferred travel partner – Fuzion Travel. They’re our experienced hand-picked experts in travel, passionate about what they do, and will tailor-make your flight itinerary to match your Active Adventures tour.

Also, please be aware that travel insurance is a must on all our trips and means you can travel with peace of mind.

Do you sell direct to consumers or only work with travel advisors?

We sell both directly to consumers and work with travel advisors. Advisors are protected if your client calls us directly to book another adventure, we’ll pay you a commission for their booking. Our only requirements are that the client approves and that you take over the reservation within 30 days of the guest’s date of deposit.

What can clients expect when traveling with us?

Our tours are all-inclusive small group adventure vacations with all meals, accommodations, activities, guiding services, transportation, and permits included in the trip price. We offer various options in each itinerary to suit different tastes and abilities, so guests have the flexibility to take on activities at their own pace. Our guides will make sure your client has an experience that truly exceeds their expectations in some of the most incredible regions of the world.

How far in advance should I book?

The sooner the better! We recommend booking 6-12 months prior to your client’s departure. Popular trips and trips departing during busier times sell out quicker, so it’s best to book as soon as possible to avoid missing out.

What happens after I make a booking?

Once a booking has been made, the booking Travel Advisor will receive a confirmation email with instructions to log into our travel portal (referred to as our Travel Wallet). Once you have logged in, you’ll be able to access important documents including the full day-by-day trip itinerary and packing list to download and send to your client.

Please note we do not offer a client-facing travel portal currently.

When does the final payment need to be made?

The outstanding balance shown on your invoice (including any additional items) must be paid in full no later than 90 days (180 days for Africa trips) prior to the departure date of your client’s booked trip. For bookings made within 90 days prior to the departure date of your client’s booked trip (180 days for Africa trips), the full balance (including any additional items) is required within 48 hours of booking confirmation.

Please review our full booking policies here.

Where can my clients find information about their trip?

As the booking Travel Advisor, you’ll have access to all documents the guest needs to prepare for their trip and will need to share that with them. If there is additional information you need, our customer service team can assist with your request.

Will I receive communications with more information before my client’s trip?

We send out periodic communications leading up to the departure date of your client’s trip. Our Customer Service Team will reach out to you directly within the first week of booking, around 4 months before your client’s trip, and again around two weeks before they depart to make sure your clients are all set and ready to go on their trip.

What are your booking conditions?

See our full booking conditions here.

Can you explain your Activity Levels to me?
