Her name might be Sarah but everyone knows her as "Sā"

Sā grew up in Aotearoa, New Zealand and guides for Active Adventures in her homeland.

What's your favorite travel destination? 

One I haven't explored yet!

What's your favorite adventure activity and why? 

I especially love hiking, biking, and kayaking — anything active out in nature.

What has been your most inspiring adventure experience? 

Many moons ago I used fly in and out of countries as cabin crew, places like Morocco, Calcutta, Oman, Vietnam help me captured a vibrance of flavours, food or soul embracing experience, some I continued to return to to get a fix of the intoxicating senses or flamboyance in textures and design.. a world so different to my own gave me appreciation of colour, culture and real food flavors!

What's your favorite Active Adventures trip, and why? 

Siberia is a great day of full adventure on the South island! Or The Perfect day inn the North Island.. We are spoilt for choice!

When did you first get the travel bug? 

"I was born with it!" 

Why did you want to become a guide with Active Adventures?

To share heaven on earth with you all.

What destination would you most like to travel to (that you haven't been to yet)?

The islands of the old spice route

Do you have any favorite hobbies or special talents you could tell us about?

Hmm.. I spend my down time in the Garden, I love growing my own food and have extended that interest with a group, in working towards growing food for an eco village which we are forming. As for talents, just being the best bubbly host possible is my thing.
