New Zealand and Nepal Guide
Kim was born in Alberta, Canada and she speaks English and French (but with the worst accent!). Everyday is an adventure in the outdoors for Kim, but climbing to the top of Browne Falls in Doubtful Sound is an adventure she'll never forget... She's in that enviable position where her hobbies also happen to double as her 'work', and these include hiking, kayaking, wakeboarding and snowboarding. Another 'hobbie' this summer has been scouring Trademe for a vehicle to help her discover the countryside. If you haven't heard of Trademe, you probably will when you arrive in New Zealand - it's our answer to Amazon.

Kim's best life decision? "Moving to New Zealand! I can't imagine not finding this amazing place!" - and we didn't even pay her to say that :-).
“Kim was the best. I actually talked to her about this before I even left the country. Her free spirit and excitement for adventure is contagious. The mood was always light and she could always make us laugh. I learned more from her than I will ever remember about New Zealand, but I also learned things from her that I could apply to my everyday life. I am sure that all the guides with Active are fantastic but Kim was special! She did a magnficient job. ”

“Kim was incredible. She had wonderful knowledge of the Island and shared many great facts with us. She was an excellent driver and got us from point A to point B with ease. I liked her logical approach to tasks. Her confidence made you feel comfortable and you trusted her to be your guide. She is a strong leader, perfect in her role.”

“Can I give Kim a 10 for Enthusiasm? She has a great sense of humor, is a terrific cook (she baked me a birthday cake!) and her music was pretty good too.”
