Himalayas Trekking Regions
Trekking in the Himalayas ticks a bunch of important boxes. You'll be surrounded by the tallest mountains in the world, so you're guaranteed spellbinding views (tick). In the Upper Mustang you'll retrace ancient trading routes and in the Everest and Annapurna regions you'll explore pioneering trails used by countless famous mountaineers (tick, tick). And, you can be confident knowing you'll be immersed in a rich, authentic Nepalese culture (big tick!)
When we set out to begin operating trips in Nepal, one of our 'non negotiables' was to ensure a New Zealand trip leader would guide the group alongside a team of Nepalese sherpas and porters. Now, many seasons along, we can't imagine it any other way and we're so grateful for the relationships fostered between our guests, our kiwi trip leaders and our Nepalese family.
If you're a keen hiker and you haven't yet trekked in Nepal, you'd better start planning. First, decide which region appeals to you most, check out our FAQ list and definitely chat to our team - they've all been there and they're passionate about helping you achieve your dreams!
