New Zealand Guide
Nick is from Dunedin on the East Coast of the South Island, a town that's famous for producing well-rounded, down to earth people. Well maybe not famous, but we reckon there's a trend there. He wisely studied his trade, adventure tourism, in Queenstown the adventure capital of the world and home of Active Adventures. Nick now has a few seasons under his belt and like many of our guides, he loves to mountain bike and go running in the wilderness. He also counts eating as one of his favourite hobbies!
“Nick was great. He had a wonderful sense of humor and his own way of describing what we could expect each day with regards to activity and weather. We all joked with him about this which made it more and more entertaining as the trip went on. Loved his passion for supporting local businesses and cuisine.”

“Nick was brilliant - never one to hold back on corny jokes, he made sure that everyone had fun even while travelling (for hours, sometimes). His professionalism and enthusiasm was impressive. It would also be an understatement to say that he knew the hiking terrain very well.”

“He was excellent!! We loved him. Nick went out of his way to ensure we had a great time. After hiking all of Mt. Shrimpton with us, he then suggested we go to the blue pools. This was our favorite day of the trip!! ”
