New Zealand Guide
Tess is a South Island girl, raised on a farm near a small rural town called Dunsandel, near Christchurch. She studied Physical Education at Otago University and then went onto a career as a personal trainer, before finding her true calling as an outdoor adventure guide (we're pleased she did)!
Given her background, it's not surprising that Tess is into swimming, tennis, netball, running, water skiing and snow skiing. And of course, travel. If she had to pin point one, her greatest outdoor adventure to date would be Canadian Canoeing down the Clutha River - from source to sea. What an awesome experience!

“ She was over-the-top wonderful. I am amazed at how she was able to prepare our meals, carrier food, nurture the sick, and still always have a smile on her face. It makes me smile just to remember her. Very fun loving and positive member of your team. She is an asset to the organization. ”

“Tess was such an angel! She was so down-to-earth. She was welcoming, catered to everybody's needs. She was willing to take us on Ben Lomond on our free-day in Queenstown which a few of us appreciated beyond words!! She is super hard-working and never let us lift a finger! Tess is a super talented chef and as a vegetarian I never ever got hungry or wasn't without my fruit and vegetables!! ”
