What has been your greatest outdoor adventure to date? – “I was born terribly curious of this world so I started traveling and exploring as soon as I could. After a bit of Globetrotting I stumbled upon New Zealand and my jaw dropped to the ground. It's just epic, I tried to leave but it didn't work, so now I am a very proud permanent resident. My passion for hiking I found when I came to New Zealand five years ago and started climbing volcanoes on the north island. The feeling when you get to the summit is just unbeatable. One of my favourite New Zealand adventures is most definitely the Tongariro crossing, it's such a mysterious and magical place to explore.”
Favourite quote? – "Don't rush through now to get to later"
“Clara is a caregiver and she had that special touch with each person. She loves her job and New Zealand. She exudes warmth and made sure we were well fed and taken care of!”Allison Houghteling (Quincy, Massachusetts, United States), November 2015
“Clara's culinary skills were awesome. She readily adjusted for some dietary restrictions, seemingly without difficulty. And I appreciated her relinquishing her seat so I would not get carsick.”Betsy Richman (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States), November 2015
