Cem Inal

South America Trip Leader

Cem was born and raised in Turkey, and started guiding when he was 18 years of age. He used to guide mostly rafting and sea kayaking, but once he arrived in Chile, in 2005, he has guided much more hiking. With around 20 years of experience guiding, Cem has seen it all, and can handle any situation out there in the 'field'.

Cem is relatively new to Active Adventures, and we are so lucky to have him on board. He has been a trip leader for us most recently in South America. When he's not guiding (which isn't much of the time by the sound of his busy life!) Cem can be found listening to music, cooking, and enjoying carpentry work.

Testimonials

“Cam was great. Patience, kind, thoughtful, all the qualities you want in a guide.”
- Renee West (Reston, Virginia, United States), Condor December 2016

“Cem was organized, responsive, even-tempered, knowledgeable and fun. He was a fantastic guide and I have nothing but positive things to say about him. When I wasn't feeling well one day, he made sure I was doing well”
- Amy Linsky (Boston, Massachusetts, United States), Condor December 2016

    South Island Rimu Trip

My South Island trip was outstanding, even with the cyclone that came ashore on the second day! The itinerary needed to be changed because of all the washed out roads to places that we were suppose to venture to. Our guides, Jackie and Carrie, came up with new plans that were great. A mark of a good company is when they can handle unexpected events, such as a cyclone, and still provide their guest with a trip of a life time. Thank you A.A. for a great and safe trip!

    A Marvelous Exprerience

This trip was worth every penny. We had marvelous lodging that we could not have accessed on our own. Our access to trails, parks and activities was all arranged and all we had to worry about was showing up for the experience. We were truly touched by the extent to which our guides went out of their way to respond to our special food needs. I felt truly safe, supported by the experience, training and good will of our guides. I came home stronger and with new confidence that as an elder I can still take on physically challenging experiences and succeed. What a gift that is.

    Awesome New Zealand experience

Wow, what a great trip! New Zealand was at the top of my bucket list & this trip was everything I expected and more. Mt. Cook on a beautiful evening with no clouds and the lake in front was one of my favorites. Milford Sound kayaking was another. Just getting to Milford Sound is spectacular! I'd go back in a heartbeat if it weren't so far away.

Virgin Active Adventurist-When can I do it again?!

Fabulous trip! Not having to drive, research stops, plan activities, arrange accommodations and decide what to eat made this so relaxing, letting us enjoy every minute of every activity and even the down time! I can't wait to sign up for another trip!

    Manuka-February 2018

This is our third Active Adventures trip and we have never been disappointed. Each trip has been a learning experience for us. The beautiful sights and people we have met along the way have made it a very worthwhile event that we will never forget. We enjoyed working with your professional team of staff and guides and hopefully one day we will return for another adventure. Thanks, Steve and Marilyn.
