Activity Level 1
Suitable for most fitness levels, our Level 1 adventures are the perfect introduction to adventure travel.
You'll typically experience two half day activities per day, done at an easygoing pace.
Activity Level 2
Hikes on our Level 2 adventures are considered easy to moderate in difficulty.
Those who enjoy half-day hikes with enough elevation gain to elevate their heart rate will enjoy these adventures.
Activity Level 3
Those who take on our Level 3 tours are looking for more challenging hikes that will raise their heart rate.
While not our most strenuous trips, you'll definitely feel accomplished after a day on the trails. A solid base of fitness is advised.
Activity Level 4
Be prepared for some serious physical activity on our Level 4 trips. The fitter you are, the more you'll enjoy it, as most hikes will be challenging.
Hikes may include rock scrambling, river crossings, and off trail adventures.
Activity Level 5
On our Level 5 trips get ready to conquer back-to-back days of long hikes or summitting peaks at altitude.
We require a high level of fitness as adventurers will be met with plenty of challenges and sometimes extreme conditions.

Your trip begins with a pickup in Bozeman and shuttles to Big Sky, Montana where you'll start your adventure with a zip line tour across the Gallatin River. After lunch, we make our way to West Yellowstone with a short hike along the way.
We enjoy an early dinner in town before heading into the park to see of the park's icons, Grand Prismatic.

Day 2
We start the day with a hike through the Upper Geyser Basin stopping along the way to enjoy the thermal features all around us finishing at Old Faithful. We’ll enjoy a tasty guide-prepared picnic lunch before embarking on another extraordinary hike. This hike takes us along the northern shore of Lake Yellowstone. You'll stroll through flower-dotted meadows and lodgepole pine forests until you reach Yellowstone’s largest lake with its wide-open views of the Absaroka Mountain Range.
After, we’ll make our way to the north where your rustic accommodations allow for the opportunity to step back from technology and embrace lodging in the country’s oldest national park.

Day 3
This morning we’ll check out the Yellowstone River’s Upper Falls where the water flows powerfully over the brink. From this viewpoint, we can appreciate the waterfall’s power and spend time here. We’ll set off on a hike on the Wapiti Trail. This hike will bring us to the rim of the 10,000-year-old, 1,000-foot-deep Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River. As we carefully make our way along the canyon wall, the pinks, yellows, reds, and oranges of the rock appear to intensify at every bend. Finally we reach the grand finale of Artist Point, the most spectacular viewpoint of the Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River.
This evening we wil take an evening wildlife safari through Lamar Valley.

Day 4
This morning we enjoy a hike away from the crowds to see a different side of Mammoth Hot Springs. Afterwards enjoy some time to explore the white, orange, and yellow travertine terraces or pop into the visitor's center to learn about the history of Yellowstone. We then head just north of the park for an exciting whitewater rafting adventure on the Yellowstone River. Dinner is on your own tonight in Gardiner.

Day 5
Today we'll have a leisurely morning enjoying breakfast before exploring the area just north of Yellowstone, ever on the lookout for wildlife, and if time allows a soak in a hot spring. After a picnic lunch, we’ll drive through Paradise Valley to the Flying Diamond Ranch. The Flying Diamond Ranch is a fifth-generation family-owned and operated commercial cattle ranch located in eastern Montana. Here we’ll saddle up for an unforgettable horseback ride into the Absaroka Mountains alongside the seasoned ranchers.
Afterwards, we’ll head to the historic Chico Hot Springs Resort, located in the heart of Paradise Valley, nestled in the foothills of the breathtaking Absaroka Mountain Range. Here we can soak in the rejuvenating mineral waters before gathering in the resort’s dining room for a celebratory gourmet dinner in one of Montana’s finest restaurants.

Horse-back Riding: 2 hours
Day 6
After a sleep-in and leisurely morning at the resort, we’ll take a stroll through the gardens or you can opt for a scenic hike to Trout Pond before heading back to either the hotel or the airport. This is the end of your trip and we’ll leave you refreshed and invigorated from the good food, exercise, rest, and great times you’ll have had with us!
