Where were you born and where did you grow up?
I was born in Lincoln, spent the first ten years of my life in Twizel - Town of Trees. And my teen years in Geraldine - Town of Barker's Jam!
In my spare time I love to spend time with family and friends, staying fit at the gym and I dabble in drawing, painting and wall art. However my main hobby is to travel, my goal is to visit the four corners of the Earth and immerse myself in as many different cultures as I can.
What’s been your greatest outdoor adventure to date?
I thoroughly enjoyed hiking Volcan Acatenango in Guatemala last April. Watching ash and lava spill from the active Volcano. We slept under the stars, and summited at 4am up loose shale to capture the magnificent sunrise over the entire valley.
Do you have a favourite quote that you live by?
"Not all those who wander are lost"
Have you studied beyond school? If so in what field?
I graduated with a Degree in Architecture from Vic Uni in Wellington. However, after spending my last trimester studying in Nepal, the idea of travel really captured me so I worked in Hospitality and Hotel Management around the world before securing my job with Active.
